One of the greatest movies of all time, The Princes Bride. In this video there are many different types of humor shown. Audiences will continue laughing throughout the movie. By dispersing the different types of humor the watchers do not get tired of the style. Three type of Humor that come out are disparagement, sarcasm, and random occurrences.

Throughout the movie there is always a person to make fun of and to laugh at. It may seem cruel, but one of the best ways to get people to laugh is to look at others mistakes or inabilities. It shows stupid or cowardly people to laugh at.

The sarcasm also helps to keep the audience laughing. It keeps the mind occupied in distinguishing sarcasm from genuine words. When one of the characters says something sarcastically and the other character takes it literally, it combines both sarcasm and disparagement.

As Random occurrences catches the audience off guard it becomes funny because it is not the expected happening. One of these in The Princes Bride is when the two witches start arguing about insignificant things when they are about to bring William back to life. The effect is great because the argument has no importance in the plot whatsoever.

The hilarious nature of this movie has brought people to quote it for years. So each time you watch it, it brings more and more laughter.

Across Five Aprils
Considering that it is the month of April I thought of this book. Across Five Aprils is a story during the Civil War about a young boy growing up from 7 to 12 years old. As one reads this book the plot is interesting but is not the factor that inspires a person. The characters that develop and change by overcoming or falling to trial pull the reader into the book and inspires one to be better.

As the Civil War breaks out the family is torn by one brother, who has seen that many black slaves are more a part of their owners families than slaves, joins the confederates. The plot moves on and it shows the young boy trying to understand the turmoil of persecution to the family and internal strife.

When one finishes the book they are left with an inspiration to be better and almost brings the reader to tears because of the great actions of the characters. The impression that it left on me has made it one of my favorite books.

Playing the Piano
I greatly enjoy playing the piano but when it comes to practicing it rarely happens. Practicing what I want to play is fine but the worst are the Alfred levels of practice books. But I guess even if I practice what I enjoy, I still only play the piano when my friends can't play and I don't have any homework.

So my mother quit me from taking piano lessons because I did not practice enough. I want to keep playing but it is very difficult to fit it in to my day. I've been thinking how I can continue playing the piano more. So I decided to set a goal to practice at least 15 min five days a week. Now that it is in this blog, "so let it be written, so let it be done".

So now if this goal does not help me then I think I will probably just have to want it more than an enjoyable pastime and fun ability.
